It was only announced this past August but the upcoming debut FestivalX event has been cancelled.
Organisers confirmed the cancellation in a statement posted online today.
"Due to unforeseen last-minute changes in artist availability, the partners involved in FestivalX have agreed not to proceed with the 2018 event," the post reads.
"We set out to deliver the very best experience and the compromises to the proposed line-up did not meet the vision that we have for FestivalX."
The festival, launched by Stereosonic creators, Hardware and Onelove and Live Nation, was scheduled to tour through Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this November and December.
