A new documentary looking at the life of legendary singer Amy Winehouse has picked up an Australian airdate.
The show, titled Amy Winehouse & Me: Dionne’s Story, sees Winehouse's goddaughter Dionne Bromfield pay tribute to the late singer and examine the impact of her death at age 27 in 2011.
“I can’t tell you now just how therapeutic this journey has been for me," said Bromfield.
"Finally, I can move forward into the next chapter of my career knowing that I have dealt with emotions that have been buried for years.
"I hope this documentary shows Amy as more than just a person struggling with addiction and instead showcases the amazing person my godmother was.”

The documentary is set to premiere on MTV at 10am and the newly launched Paramount+ at 11am on Saturday 28 August.
