Nada Surf Break Australian Drought

The New York indie-rock kings return for the first time in almost a decade.

More Nada Surf Nada Surf

Yes, most people over a certain age who read this will know that Nada Surf were the band who had that huge indie anthem in 1996, Popular. But the fact of the matter is, this is a band with far more incredible music in their canon than many people realise and they're finally coming back to Australia to play some of it for us.

It has been almost ten years since the New Yorkers were here, but with the release of their seventh LP The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy and a complete release of their entire back catalogue, they've decided the time is right to come back and show us what they've been up to over the past few years.

They'll be zooming down the east coast of the country this September for a tour that includes a date at the Brisbane Festival as well as Sydney and Melbourne shows. Tickets are on sale now for Sydney and Melbourne shows, Brisbane to follow soon.
