Musica Copa Announces Details For 2016 Charity Football Game

Back for another year, Musica Copa has announced the teams for this year's star-studded charity football game, to be held in February. 

The 5-a-side tournament will feature 20 music industry teams all competing for the title and bragging rights — as well as over $14,000 in prize money for the four best teams. 

This year, Musica Copa have also announced mandatory male/female squads for the first time — two for every eight player squad. The Loop's Scott Tweedie will be taking part as MC and making sure everyone plays fair, while everyone munches up the Young Henrys and Mary's Burgers provided.

Held at Marrickville's Kikoff Fraser Park on Friday, 5 February, this year's Musica Copa features teams from Audiopaxx, Falcona, FBi Radio, Future Classic, Groovin The Moo, inthemix, Lucky Ent, Ministry of Sound x Mustard, MTV Australia, Mushroom Group, Pedestrian, Pulse Radio, Red Bull Music Academy, Sony Music, Spotify, Sweat It Out x MAKER Agency, the projects*, UNDR Ctrl, Universal Music and WME Entertainment.
