Music Shows Nabbed Over 2.5 Million Viewers On Aussie TV Last Night

It seems that there's a whole lot of space on Aussie TV for music shows with last night's ratings slots filled with them. 

According to ratings on TV Tonight, music shows (or those prominently featuring the topic) held five of the top 20 spots on Aussie TV last night, accounting for 2,561,000 viewers across the evening. 

Channel Nine's Queen: Days Of Our Lives documentary was the highest billed entertainment program for the evening with 691,000 viewers, taking out fourth position behind Seven, Nine and ABC's news programs. 

Channel Seven's new signing comp, All Together Now, came in just behind the documentary with a total of 684,000, seeing a slight increase of 24,000 from its previous week. Guy Sebastian's new show, Don't Stop The Music, debuted on ABC with 465,000 viewers. 


Seven's Sunday Night featured an interview with The Who frontman Roger Daltrey, with the program drawing in 432,000 viewers, while Nine's The Beatles: Eight Days A Week - The Touring Years scored 289,000 viewers.

Last night's ratings continue a successful run for music programs on Aussie TV, with the Spicks & Specks reunion special drawing in 905,000 viewers last Sunday and the launch of The Set on ABC.
