Music SA Key Player Leaves Amid Funding Issues

“I’m endlessly proud of what we’ve achieved together."

An influential member of Adelaide’s music body, Emma Coyle has announced her position at the organisation has not been renewed for 2018 due to “funding issues”.

As well as being Music SA’s Industry Development Manager, Coyle was the driving force behind the annual and acclaimed SAM Awards and was also Event Manager for emerging talent showcase Scouted, which debuted earlier this year during Indie-Con.

“I’m endlessly proud of what we’ve achieved together as a team and I look forward to watching the organisation grow from strength to strength,” Coyle said in a statement.

“I’m excited at the prospect of new opportunities and aim to continue working across artist management, event management and various music and arts projects big and small in the future.”

Coyle will be with Music SA until the end of January, after two-and-a-half years there.
