Horror rock band the Murderdolls are set to return with a new album after an eight year hiatus.

Entitled ‘Women and Children Last’, the new album is slated for release mid-year. Killyourstereo reported last month that a return by the group was imminent. "We don't look at this as a return -- this is revenge! The music scene today is as boring and stale as it was in 2002, when we first formed the band. This time around, everyone is the enemy!" Murderdolls guitarist and Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison told Noise Creep recently.

The new studio album is currently being produced in Los Angeles with Roadrunner Records to distribute the release.

Murderdolls last album was 2002’s ‘Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls’.
