M-Phazes ProfileIn a merger of British and Australian talent, UK born lyricist Jehst and award-winning homegrown producer M-Phazes will join forces this July to complete their new collaboration record – managing to fit in a handful of shows to showcase their new partnership.
Recognised as a hip hop major player in the UK, Jehst has quickly risen to live cult-phenomenon status, constantly added to lineups alongside De La Soul and KRS One, his name stretching internationally from Australia to America's underground scene.
Equally as impressive, Australia's own multiple ARIA Award winning M-Phazes hold a repertoire performing alongside artists like Grammy winning Amerie, Talib Kewli and Pharoahe Monch, and supporting the likes of Eminem, Lil Wayne and Wu Tang Clan in a DJ set on Australian shores. Additonally, M-Phazes holds production credits on nearly every major hip hop release in our country, as well as landing cuts with Drapht, Bliss N Eso, 360 and Gotye.
Fans will get a much anticipated sneak-peak at the collaborative record in the Jehst and M-Phazes three shows, playing some new tunes and classics from both camps at the end of July – more details are below.
