This year promises to be the biggest Big BBQ Parramatta's thrown to date, with all day cook-offs, food stalls and heaps of celebrations.
Creating a world of taste will be the inaugural Big BBQ Battle, with ten teams of Aussie and international barbecue pit masters smoking, basting and grilling it out for more than $2500 worth of cash and prizes. On the sidelines there's more than 30 new and old stallholders who will provide delicious treats and refreshments for festival goers, including Ranger's Texas BBQ, Angus Smokehouse and Memphis BBQ Pit. For anyone who wants to try their own hand at barbecuing, there will be a range of brand new smokers on display, like Horizon Smokers' eight-foot tall 'Grizzly Beast'.
