More artists have been confirmed for Tasmania's A Festival Called PANAMA, with singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett leading the new additions.

Barnett will be joined by another acclaimed Melburnian songwriter in Big Scary's Tom Iansek, who will perform under the guise of his #1 Dads side-project. Other artists on the new announcement include Brisbane's The John Steel Singers and The Furrs, as well as urban-folk musician Darren Hanlon.

A Festival Called PANAMA had already revealed internationals Sharon Van Etten and Bombino on its first announcement, plus locals such as Melbourne rock troupe Harmony and multi-faceted muso Ben Salter.

Tickets go on sale next Monday 1 December and there will be a special early arrival ticket ticket option for the day prior to the event.
