Two legends of electronic dance music Omar S and Moodymann will be co-headlining a massive carpark party at Sydney/Eora's Liberty Hall on Saturday the 29th of October.
The event will be the first to take place at the venue. They'll be joined behind the decks by Nigerian born, Berlin based future soul star Wayne Snow, and two of Sydney's favourite party authorities Bria and Adi Toohey.
Moodymann's trademark sound is one formed by an innovative use of techno and house music, wrapped in a glow of reworked riffs, samples and grooves. The soulfulness of the music is unquestioned, utilising classic soul and jazz samples, low-slung bass lines and a unique approach to drum programming.
Omar S is a revolutionary name in the world of Detroit House music and techno. Across his 7 full length albums, he's established himself as one of the greatest names in house music, known for his raw, soulful sound and moody synth work. Fiercely independent, he releases the majority of his work through his FXHE label which is run out of his basement.
Moodymann will also be performing a huge headline show in Brisbane on the 28th of October at Felons Barrel Hall alongside Wayne Snow, Claire Morgan and Jad & The.
