Monuments to record in Boston with Jay Maas

Perth punk outfit Monuments have announced they will be travelling to Boston, Massachusetts to record their full length album with Jay Maas at Getaway Recording Studio in January 2013. This will be Monuments’ debut album, after releasing their EP “The Only Way We Know” in January this year. Maas has produced a respectful list of records from the likes of Title Fight, Verse and Have Heart and of course his own band Defeater. The album will feature new material as well as two tracks that feature on an upcoming split with UK’s Save Your Breath which is set to drop 26th October 2012 through Hindsight Records.
