Reaching glorious heights
Up-and-comer Montaigne (Jess Cerro to her family) has finally outlined details of her anticipated debut album, Glorious Heights, along with a matching massive national tour this September.
Having already dropped the single Because I Love You, Cerro says of Glorious Heights: "I want to preach empowerment by means of self-improvement; to be able to identify one's weaknesses, analyse them, and mitigate them. I want people to realise that the warrior of this age is the kind that combats evil by refusing to take part in the processes that sustain it."
Montaigne will head out on the road shortly after Glorious Heights releases on 5 August with the tour stopping in at a whopping 12 dates, including five festivals. She'll perform headline shows in Adelaide, Perth, Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle, Geelong and Melbourne from 13 September to 15 October.
