Maddy JaneThe local support acts for the 2019 Twilight At Taronga Series have been unveiled, with some serious emerging talent joining the bill.
Tasmanian singer-songwriter Maddy Jane will kick off proceedings on opening night, supporting You Am I and Magic Dirt on February 1, before William Crighton, Bleeding Knees Club, Riley Pearce, Tay Oskee, Mojo Juju, Timberwolf and more appear in the weeks that follow.
The 2019 summer concert series will one-up its support of local artists next year through a new partnership with the American Express Music Backers Grant program, with the opening acts selected set to appear in front of crowds in excess of 2,000 at Taronga Zoo.
“Super stoked to be playing at Twilight, mostly for the fact I have a song called Elephants so it’ll be nice to think there might be an elephant or two listening in," Perth artist Riley Pearce said.
