400 lucky punters will get a chance to see him in action.
In support of his new LP Innocents, which will drop on Friday 27 September, the mighty Moby will be back in Australia for a very brief promotional visit to drum up a bit of publicity about the record his people are calling “arguably the best album of his career”. Given it features collaborations with Wayne Coyne, Mark Lanegan, Cold Specks, Skylar Grey, Damien Jurado and Inyang Bassey, we're very intrigued to say the least.
If you know Moby, then you know that he's not a man who wastes time, so while he is in the country he has decided he will smash out one special DJ set so that his legion of followers can get back in touch with one of the biggest names in electronic music over the past couple of decades.
This special appearance will happen at Sydney's Dirty Laundry club and we're expecting punters to pack the joint out with such an iconic name in the world of dance music taking to the decks.
There are only 400 tickets available for this special event, so you'd better get your act together if you're interested in being there. It happens on Thursday 19 September and tickets are available from Thursday morning.
