Summer is a great time of year for Ministry of Sound enthusiasts, with the trailblazing global dance and house music brand announcing the return of the Ministry of Sound Summer Dance Festival.

The event takes place this December, taking over venues across the Gold Coast, Sydney, Perth, and Melbourne. This year marks the festival’s largest outing in Australia to date and will transform massive outdoor venues into unforgettable raves.

This year’s festival is headlined by CLASSICAL performed by the Ministry of Sound Orchestra. Like previous performances, CLASSICAL celebrates dance music by remixing and reimagining hit songs.

Award-winning conductor Vanessa Perica leads the Ministry of Sound Orchestra alongside legendary DJ Groove Terminator.

Together, they’ll spotlight dance music with an all-star guest vocalist line-up, including ARIA Award-nominated singer Reigan, plus Karina Chavez (Show Me Love), Rudy (TV Rock’s In The Air), Lady Lyric (CLASSICAL tour favourite) and Luke Antony (The Voice).

In addition to CLASSICAL, the festival will host international DJs such as Roger Sanchez, Seb Fontaine, and Braxe & Falcon, who will perform alongside some of Australia’s acclaimed DJs.

The tour begins at the Gold Coast’s HOTA Parklands – the biggest-ever Ministry of Sound in the state – on Friday, 4 December.

It continues at The Domain – its new Sydney home – on Saturday, 5 December, Perth’s Kings Park & Botanic Garden on Friday, 11 December, Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday, 12 December, and concludes with a second stop at Perth’s Kings Park & Botanic Garden on Sunday, 13 December.

Each event will feature a multi-stage set-up, as well as Silent Disco DJs, curated bars, and a picnic paradise. For the Perth dates, “a specially curated line-up” has been confirmed for each day.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from Tuesday, 2 June, at 12 pm local time – register here for access – ahead of the general sale on Wednesday, 3 June, at 12 pm local time.

You can find tickets and additional information on the Ministry of Sound Summer Dance Festival website.
