Melbourne and Sydney gigs confirmed
Industrial metal legends Ministry have announced a pair of sidewaves to go with their forthcoming appearances for Soundwave.
The Al Jourgensen-led outfit will be joined by UK industrial heavyweights Godflesh for what should be two very intense headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney. The gigs will take place at the Corner Hotel on Tuesday, 24 Feb and the Metro Theatre on Friday, 27 Feb, with Melbourne an over-18s only show. The Sydney date is all-ages.
And if Jourgensen's word is anything to go by, this could very well be the last time you'll get the chance to witness Ministry live.
The iconic frontman told The Music's Brendan Crabb recently: "This is our last tour, because (long-time guitarist) Mike Scaccia died (in 2012). He loved this record. He died two days after finishing his parts and left that for Dallas with a big smile on his face saying, ‘Man, you’ve gotta tour this record.'"
