US Country Superstars Midland Confirm 2022 Australian Headline Tour

US country superstars Midland are returning to Australia this year as part of their huge The Last Resort: Greetings From Tour run.

The Grammy-nominated trio from Texas, featuring vocalist Mark Wystrach, guitarist Jess Carson and bass player Cameron Duddy, will travel their brand of country, which is rooted in tradition in both sound and style, up and down the East Coast from early December.

With support from Australia’s own Travis Collins across all shows except Melbourne, the band’s return is in support of their forthcoming album, The Last Resort: Greetings From (out tomorrow), which was created during the pandemic as the trio explored their creative depths, tapping into post-urban cowboy and more.

Midland burst onto the scene in 2017 with their acclaimed debut album, which featured #1 single Drinkin’ Problem, which earned the band their first Grammy Awards nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance. 

Midland were also named New Vocal Group of the Year at the 2018 ACM Awards and nominated for three CMA Awards including Vocal Group of the Year, Single of the Year for Drinkin’ Problem and New Artist of the Year.  

The band’s last visit to Australia was in support of second album Let It Roll, which was a top five release on the Australian Country Album ARIA Charts.
