Middle KidsHaving impressed industry heavyweight and Conan O'Brien's booker, Jim Pitt, at BIGSOUND last year, young Sydney trio Middle Kids scored a spot performing on Conan last night and absolutely nailed it.
The band made their television debut playing Edge Of Town and it was a passionate, raucous performance, ending with the esteemed TV host O'Brien himself calling the band "fantastic" and "brilliant".
We particularly loved the slide guitar and singer Hannah's jelly-leg dance moves towards the end.
Middle Kids took to Facebook afterwards to write, "hey look it's us. On...TV...In...America. Thanks Conan O'Brien Presents: Team Coco for the supporting our band, showing off our record, shaking our hands, being a hero. WE HAD FUN".
