Michael Gudinski’s life will be celebrated later this month at a State Memorial in Melbourne.
Following the Australian music legend and Mushroom Group Founder and Executive Chairman’s passing last week, it was revealed that Victorian Premier Dan Andrews had offered a state funeral for "an amazing Victorian".
The Gudinski family have accepted the Victorian State Government’s offer of a State Memorial, which Mushroom Group has announced will be held at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on March 24.
Details of how to attend the State Memorial will be released later in the week.

Last week, Andrews said the event will be “a celebration of his life”.
"... I think we'll be able to come together in an iconic venue and we'll be able to celebrate his life and the mark that he made and the legacy that he leaves,” he said.
"I don't know many people that love Melbourne and Victoria more than Michael did. And Melbourne and Victoria loved him as well and we miss him. We miss him terribly.
"It's a very sad day, but it won't be a sad occasion. It'll be an occasion where we can come forward and celebrate all that he did."
