Michael Bublé To Perform One-off Australian Show This Year

He's back.

More Michael Buble Michael Buble Profile

Following a near three-year absence from performing, Canadian singer-songwriter Michael Bublé has announced he will return to Australia this year for a special one-off show.

The Grammy Award-winning artist will play Sydney's Allianz Stadium on Friday 5 October, which will be the last event at the venue before it closes for three years for refurbishment and construction.

Bublé made his return to the stage earlier this month at Dublin's Croke Park after taking time off to focus on his son's successful battle with cancer.

The 42-year-old said the time off from performing gave him a new perspective on his life.

"This perspective has cost a lot but it has allowed me to truly rekindle a romance with music," Bublé said.

"And I can’t wait to get to Australia and perform."

General public tickets go on sale from 10am on Friday 3 August; for more details, click on theGuide.
