MGMT release video for Kids

MGMT have finally made a video for their ten month old hit single ‘Kids’. The video is a bit of a 6 minute "mini-flick" where a trashbag mum carries her kid around town.

The kid apparently sees society as a bit of a monster so to him everyone other than his mum is.. wait for it... a monster! It’s not all indie stars and monsters though, there is also some bizarre animation and a somewhat disturbing shot of the band performing in the middle of the forest.

On a posting on the band’s official website, they say this is the first song they ever wrote back in February 2003, and the idea for the video has been around for a year.
