Mexico City Are Back With 'When The Day Goes Dark'

One of Brisbane's best kept secrets break their hiatus.

Seven years on from 2009's acclaimed Brown Bird, Mexico City is back with their third LP When The Day Goes Dark.

The band have broken their hiatus with an album soaked in ruminations of suburban malaise, political despair, lovesick yearning - an effort that propels them in to both familiar an unexplored territory while maintaining their distinctly Brisbane feel.

After a show at Stones Corner Hotel MC are launching WTDGD at Junk Bar, before supporting Ben Salter at the Currumbin Soundlodge and The Triffid.
