With the 2017 edition of the Mullum Music Festival only a few months away, applications for the popular Youth Mentorship Program are now open, with this year's mentors also being confirmed.
The Youth Mentorship Program teams burgeoning acts under 21 years of age up with established artists (who also feature on the Mullum Music Fest bill) who mentor and provide hands-on advice in a festival setting.
The successful applicants also score a rehearsal session with their mentor, a 20-minute set at the festival, a weekend pass to Mullum 2017 and a backstage pass to watch their mentor's performance.
This year's mentors include Domini Forster (Under 15s category), Husky (Band category), Áine Tyrrell (Singer Songwriter) and Ladyslug's Kodi Twiner (Vocal category).

"The Youth Mentorship Program is at the heart of what we do at Mullum Music Festival," festival director, Glenn Wright, said.
"For young musicians seeking to find a path in the music industry, a mentor can be life changing. The connections made between young artists and their mentors often last long after the festival and the Youth Mentorship performances are always a festival highlight."
Applications for the Youth Mentorship Program close on 20 October. For more details, click here.
