30 September 2015 | 10:56 am | Staff Writer

Funeral details for Thirsty Merc stage manager.

The memorial for Thirsty Merc's stage manager Shane Cooper is to be held in Camden, New South Wales tomorrow.

Cooper tragically died in a fatal car crash in Victoria last week. He was 43 years old.

The memorial will be held from midday at the Camden Civic Centre in the Auditorium.

Cooper had been a stage manager and tour manager for over 25 years with some of the biggest and most recognised artists in the country including Richard Clapton, 1927, Choirboys, Sneaky Sound System, Rose Tattoo, Thirsty Merc, Dragon, Swoop, Directions In Groove, Underground Lovers and Things Of Wood & Stone to name a few, as well as overseeing all the major events put on by Empire Touring, only recently including the hugely successful WSFM Pure Gold touring events.

He leaves behind a loving wife and two small children and will be sadly missed by not only his family, but also his extended music industry family.

Our thoughts are with the Cooper family at this tragic time.
