Members Of Violent Femmes, Midnight Oil Team Up For Orchestra Performance

Playing music from Neil Finn, Bach, Bryce Dressner and more

Set to hit Factory Theatre on 5 November, the Australian Chamber Orchestra is bringing the wonder of ACO Underground to the stage.

A performance of acoustic and electric instruments, it will be led by internationally renowned violinist and singer, Satu Vänskä, with support from some of the world's best musos.

Brian Ritchie of Violent Femmes — who is also curating the MOFO festival in Tasmania — will be joining ACO Underground on bass, as will Midnight Oil guitarist Jim Moginie, Synergy Percussion's Timothy Constable, ACO Artistic Director and violinist Richard Tognetti, violinist Glenn Christensen, cellist Julian Thompson, violist Christopher Moore, double bassist Maxime Bibeau and finally Joseph Nizeti on electronics.

ACO Underground will play music from the likes of Neil Finn to Bach to Bryce Dressner.
