Melbourne International Film Festival To Premiere Local Feature

The blue carpet is coming

The 65th Melbourne International Film Festival will open to Harvie Krumpet producer Melanie Coombs' new project, The Death And Life Of Otto Bloom. Directed by Melbourne filmmaker Chris Jones, the film will premiere at MIFF's opening night in late July.

Jones has been on MIFF's watchlist for some time, having been involved with the festival since 2004. Triumphantly returning to the festival with his first ever feature film, The Death And Life Of Otto Bloom is an enthralling story of a man experiencing life in reverse.

The film stars Xavier Samuel and Rachel Ward, and MIFF's iconic blue carpet will be rolled out Thursday 28 July. Head to miff.com.au for all the info.
