The 'Parks & Rec' star will perform his own show, 'Full Bush', in his wife's absence
Fans expecting to see the joint comedy of husband-and-wife funny-people Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally will have to wait a little longer than expected to see the pair perform together, with Mullally announcing that she has had to pull out of their planned Summer Of 69: No Apostrophe tour of Australia.
As a result of Mullally's withdrawal — itself brought on by an unforeseen scheduling conflict — Offerman will plough ahead with his own solo show, Full Bush, with his replacement shows slotting in to cover the existing dates, times and venues booked for the nixed Summer Of 69 shows.
"I am throbbing with anticipation to taste my first koala," Offerman joked in a statement. "We will miss Megan's beauty and talent, but I will do my best to bring a hearty serving of chuckles and beefy musk Down Under."
In case you need a refresher, that means Offerman will now tackle the route solo, from Sydney's State Theatre on Thursday 28 January, through Hobart (30 January), Melbourne (31 January & 9 February), Perth (2-3 February), Adelaide (4 February) and Brisbane (5-6 February).
