Enduring metal outfit Megadeth are preparing to start work on their new studio album.
The band will begin pre-production in California over the next few days.
Megadeth have tapped Johnny K (Machine Head, Disturbed) to produce the upcoming full-length, tentaviely slated for an early to mid 2013 release.
"[Johnny] is arriving tomorrow to start pre-production [on the new CD]. This should be a very interesting record,” Dave Mustaine said recently.
