Meat Loaf 'Responsive And Recovering Well' Following Stage Collapse

Following his sudden collapse on stage yesterday in Canada, rock legend Meat Loaf is said to be "responsive and recovering well" after suffering from severe dehydration.

An official statement posted on his Facebook also noted that he had been taken to hospital "to undergo routine tests. His vital signs are stable and normal".

The 68-year-old music icon had cancelled a number of shows earlier this week and has stated more shows in Canada will be rescheduled or cancelled.

Yesterday, fan-shot footage surfaced of the terrible moment Meat Loaf dropped his microphone and crumpled to the floor during an encore of I'd Do Anything For Love in Edmonton, Canada.
