MC Lars Set To Tour Australia With New Album In Tow

California-bred MC Lars has announced that he'll head to Australia next year on an east coast tour, to coincide with the release of his fourth studio album, The Zombie Dinosaur LP.

The album features guest appearances from Less Than Jake's Roger Lima and Watsky, and references topics as diverse as Game Of Thrones, underwhelming reunion bands and hipster mums. 

Of the album title, MC Lars explains, "I feel like a dinosaur because I’ve been doing this so long, but I also feel like I’ve gotten better and better each year. 

"You could also say that I’m a zombie in the sense that my rhymes and beats are more infectious with every release, and if you are there when you hear my spit, you’ll forever be converted and changed - much like the result of being bitten by a zombie. #metaphors"

MC Lars will first perform at Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane on Friday, 8 April, followed by the Factory Theatre on Saturday, 9 April in Sydney, and lastly, Northcote Social in Melbourne on Tuesday, 12 April.
