MC Lars wrote his first rap song when he was 16, a hip-hop take on William Shakespeare's Macbeth called "Rapbeth". Little did he know, he would later be able to turn this into a career. Pioneering the ‘ nerdcore hip hop movement’ MC Lars has released four full lengths and 3 EP’s which have included generational anthems ‘ Signing Emo’ and ‘Download this song’, whilst collaborating with the greats of the punk and hip hop worlds including Ian Mackaye and KRS ONE and creating something truly unique. With deep roots in the punk rock and hip hop world, MC Lars brings his quirky, intelligent lap top rap to Australia in support of his latest EP ‘ The Edgar Allan Poe’ this September.
