The rapper has an album in the works too!

One of America's brightest MC talents Jonwayne will venture Down Under next month and today the young wordsmith and producer has unveiled an additional headline show at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory.

The next performer for Niche's High Tight! series, Jonwayne threw himself into the Los Angeles club Low End Theory scene straight out of high school, working on homemade rap mixtapes in the same inspiring environment as Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer and Nosaj Thing.

First known as the producer of 2011 instrumental record Bowser, it was his rapping skills that caught the attention of Stone Throw's Peanut Butter Wolf who quickly signed him to the label, soon-to-be releasing the MCs debut rap album titled Rap Album One late this month – featuring new tune Reflection.

Jonwayne will be backed up in Sydney by Adelaide electronica  performer Oisima, better known as Anth Wendt, sampling the work of Adele and DOOM meshed with his own original tunes – with more acts yet to be announced.

The Los Angeles MC's show at the Oxford Art Factory will be on Friday 22 November and adds to his previously announced dates at Melbourne Music Week, see theGuide for booking details.

Jonwayne's Rap Album One will be released Tuesday 29 October through Stones Throw Records.
