Last year, Sydney's iconic Picnic Touring & Events hosted their inaugural music festival, Maximum Joy at the Kings Cross Hotel. Their first dip into the festival world saw them go all out, bringing some of the world's best in electronic music to Sydney for an epic one day event.
Their first lineup saw acts like Brookyn's Joe Claussel, Minimal Wave's Veronica Vasicka, Japan's Dip In The Pool, Dopplereffekt and more heading to Sydney for the first time alongside local acts Sleep D, Freda & Jackson, Adi Toohey, Kato, Low Flung and more.
Picnic have announced the return of Maximum Joy in 2019. The festival is set to take place on Sunday, December 1 and will take place at the Factory Theatre in Marrickville.
The full lineup is yet to come, but we're going to find out more on Monday, August 19.
