Matt Gudinski Officially Launches Music Development Company

After being in the works for some time now, Matt Gudinski has officially launched full service music development company 100s + 1000s.

With a roster that boasts some of Australia's best up-and-coming talent like Fergus James, Tobiahs and D'Arcy Spiller, the label "creates a platform to empower artists and provide a dedicated team to deliver the unique support and strategy required for each artist and individual project, offering artists a one stop outlet for their creative and release needs".

“I couldn’t be more excited to launch 100s + 1000s," Gudinski, who placed at #8 on the Power 50 list this month, said.

"Our goal is to create something much more fluid and holistic than a traditional label. We’re taking a super artist-friendly, collaborative and transparent approach, and so far it feels like we’ve got something very special on our hands.

"It helps that we’ve launched with three of the country’s most exciting young artists too!"

100s + 1000s will sit alongside a strong collective of labels and artists from Gudinski and his team, including I OH YOU Records, in partnership with Johann Ponniah, and electronic imprint Soothsayer, as well as established groups like Liberation Records, Ivy League, Bloodlines and Liberator Music.

Gudinski has also confirmed he has entered a new partnership with Melbourne music industry entrepreneurs Sasha Chifura and Shelley Liu and their label Valve Sounds, with more details to be revealed soon.
