Matilda The Musical Has Hit Perth And It Looks Captivating

The first images from the Perth production of Matilda have surfaced and by all accounts, it’s looking to be a captivating experience.

After dominating stages in New York, London and Melbourne, the show opens tomorrow night at Crown Theatre, which looks almost unrecognisable with the musical’s immersive setup.

Based on Roald Dahl's 1988 classic, Matilda The Musical features tunes from WA’s very own Tim Minchin, is directed by the Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus, features choreography from Billy Elliot's Peter Darling, and set design from Rob Howell.

Matilda runs until May 7 before hitting Adelaide. You can find more info and tickets here.
