Macklemore Adds Third And Final Sydney Show To 2024 Australian Tour

On Wednesday, Frontier Touring announced a second show for Macklemore at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion after the pre-sale was met with extraordinary demand. The ticket demand is so huge that today, Frontier Touring and MG Live announce a third and final Sydney show for Macklemore.

Today, at 10 am local time, the general tickets for Macklemore’s upcoming Australian tour go on sale – who knows what kind of demand the general sale will bring?

Macklemore is touring in support of his latest album, Ben. In an interview with Macklemore, The Music’s Tyler Jenke commented, “Macklemore’s newest release is one of catharsis and honesty, and one earmarked by the satisfaction that despite the clutter that clouds our lives and upends all sense of normality, Ben Haggerty is still telling his truth.”

The American hitmaker will begin his Antipodean run in New Zealand at Wellington’s TSB Arena on Wednesday, 8 May, and Auckland’s Spark Arena on Thursday, 9 May.

Macklemore will then perform six headline shows in Australia, including Hordern Pavilion, Sydney on Saturday, 11 May, Sunday, 12 May and Monday, 13 May (new show), Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Wednesday, 15 May, Brisbane’s Riverstage on Friday, 17 May, and ends his headline tour with a final show at Perth’s HBF Stadium on Monday, 20 May.

In addition to his solo arena dates, Macklemore will headline the 2024 BASSINTHEGRASS Festival in Darwin, which also stars Bag Raiders, Bliss N Eso, Northlane, VASSY and many more.

$1 from each ticket sold for his Australian and New Zealand tour dates will be donated to PLUS1, a nonprofit organisation Macklemore has partnered with to support teenagers and their families from active substance abuse to meaningful, long-lasting recovery.
