Machina Genova stream new song

Canberra hardcore act Machina Genova have posted a new song entitled "Funeral March" for streaming online.

Premiering last night on triple j's short.fast.loud program, it's the first track to be released from 'Weathered Heart', the band's debut 10" EP, set to be released on August 11 jointly through Broken Hive and Lacklustre Records. The six-track release was recorded at Brisbane's Sun Distortion Studios earlier this year with Chris Brownbill before being mastered by Carl Saff (Paint It Black, Touche Amore, Code Orange Kids.)

Machina Genova have played up and down the East Coast over the past 12 months as well as their hometown, playing with the likes of internationals Antagonist AD, Loma Prieta and Expire. They also featured on the lineup of this year's Break The Ice festival in Melbourne. The band will play with Milwaukee's Enabler next month as part of their Australian tour.
