MIA Drops New Demo Track 'Platforms'

The ever-evolving electronica artist MIA has titillated the senses for a second time, by releasing a demo for new track Platforms following the release of Can See Can Do earlier this year.

 

Platforms is a brew of kettledrums and synth beats that exotically intertwine themselves with MIA's famously brash vocals. 

 

Talking technology and rising to power, her lyrics ring true to those immersed in the modern world of apps and emojis — "Rolling by scrolling for the future on the app/Data mine my mind like a diamond in the ruff" — and have left fans crying out for more.

 

No one quite knows when MIA will throw a nifty lil' tune up on the internet, yet with the promise of new music in the summer, one can only hope some more sporadic releases are in store!
