Rising star Lola Young collapsed on stage at the All Things Go festival in New York on Saturday (27 September) and has since assured fans that she’s “doing okay.”
As USA Today reports, the 24-year-old British singer was performing on stage when she seemed to suffer a medical emergency. Young was performing her song Conceited when she was seen falling backwards and collapsing on stage, according to video footage recorded by fans. Young’s team rushed on stage to help her.
Following the scary incident, Young addressed her fans on her Instagram Stories over the weekend.
“For anyone who saw my set at All Things Go today, I am doing okay now,” Young wrote. “Thank you for all of your support.”
Earlier in her set, Young opened about dealing with a “tricky couple of days,” and added: “Sometimes life can really make you feel like you can’t continue, but you know what, today I woke up and I made the decision to come here, and I wanted to be cool … and sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade.”
ANXIETY rapper Doechii took to the stage after Young and shared support for the singer, encouraging the audience to shout, “We love you, Lola,” The Guardian reports.

Doechii added, “She’s an incredibly talented artist, and she wasn’t feeling well tonight, and I’m so glad you guys were there to support her and hold her up. Let’s wish her the best, OK, everybody?”
Young has since cancelled her scheduled second appearance at the festival, which was booked for 28 September. “I love this job, and I never take my commitments and audience for granted, so I’m sorry to those who will be disappointed by this,” she shared on Instagram.
“I hope you’ll all give me another chance in the future. Thank you to all those who listen and care. To all the people that love to be mean online, pls give me a day off.”
Before All Things Go, Young cancelled a planned performance for 26 September.
The event was We Can Survive, a concert to support mental health and suicide prevention. In an Instagram Story, Young’s manager, Nick Shymansky, remarked that, “Lola is very open about her mental health and there are very occasionally days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe,” per Billboard.
Young is currently touring in support of her recently released third album, I’m Only F**king Myself. The singer’s breakout single, Messy, was released in 2024.
