Locals Added To Converge Shows

The coveted opening slots have been filled across the nation.

More The Broderick More The Broderick

The return of Converge to Australia soil is one of the more exciting tours for lovers of heavy music across the nation early next year, the band visiting us on the back of their All We Love We Leave Behind released this year to serious acclaim from many. Almost as exciting as that was news that the band would have US 'supergroup' Old Man Gloom (members of Isis, Cane In, Converge, Zozobra) joining them for the dates as well, making it a real feast of quality heavy fare.

Now it's becoming an even more tantalising proposition as some seriously good local acts have been added to each show on the tour. Snagging the no doubt hard fought for show in Perth is Forstora, the Adelaide date will be opened by Starvation, Hobart punters will see Surrender first up, The Broderick will open the show in Melbourne, Safe Hands have scored the Sydney show and The Fevered will get the party started in Brisbane.

Dates and ticketing details are below; these are going to be some great shows.

Tuesday 12 February – Amplifier, Perth (with Forstora) Tickets
Wednesday 13 February – Fowlers, Adelaide (all ages) (with Starvation) Tickets
Friday 15 February – Billboard, Melbourne (with The Broderick) Tickets
Saturday 16 February – Manning Bar, Sydney (with Safe Hands) Tickets
Sunday 17 February – The Hi-Fi, Brisbane (with The Fevered) Tickets
