Little May Announce Debut EP Details

Sydney-bred upstarts Little May have followed on from June's dual announcement of their signing with renowned label Dew Process and their new single Dust with the revelation of all the key details about their forthcoming self-titled debut EP.

The five-track extended player will see the light of day on Friday, October 10, and marks the first tangible collection of work from the BIGSOUND-bound prodigies, gathering up the aforementioned Dust alongside similarly tantalising cuts Hide, Midnight Hour, Bones and Boardwalks (ANZ bonus track) — a couple of those are songs with which the Little May faithful should already be familiar — and providing Aussie and international fans alike with a convenient crystallisation of their strings-dappled, darkly toned, unabashedly honest brand of indie-folk.

The ascendant three-piece, consisting of high-school friends and creative collaborators Liz Drummond, Hannah Field and Annie Hamilton, are featured on BIGSOUND's massive 140-plus-act live line-up for September, so if you're not going to be able to catch them at that event, pray the days till October 10 come and go quickly, because this is one release you'll definitely want to be on top of before the breakthrough wave hits.
