Coming this October.
English-born-Australian-raised songwriter Lisa Mitchell has today announced her third studio album Warriors is set to drop this October and to celebrate the news, she has also just released the very first single and accompanying music video for The Boys.
"This album is personal," Mitchell said.
"There’s a lot of thinking about my own kind of mythology - of myself, my life, why things are the way they are. And a lot of it is to do with childhood."
The new LP comes on the back of Mitchell's debut album Wonder, released in 2009, and 2012's Bless This Mess.

Warriors sees Mitchell team up with US producer Eric J Dubowsky (Chet Faker, Flume) and is a complete shake up of what fans usually expect from the 26-year-old.
"We really got rid of a lot of guitar and piano in this album," she said.
"I was interested in someone doing a different thing than what I’d done in the past. That felt refreshing."
Fans can next catch Mitchell on stage later this month with her band and Grouplove in Sydney and Melbourne — hit theGuide for more details.
Warriors is set for release on 14 October via Warner Music.
