Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is directing a new feature film starring John Travolta.

As Variety reports, principal photography is underway in Alabama for Moose, a thriller in which Travolta will portray a deranged fan of an action movie star, played by Devon Sawa (ya know, Little Giants, also the guy from Eminem's Stan video), who attempts to destroy the actor's life.

The film was written by Durst and Dave Bekerman with the script inspired by a real-life fan who stalked Durst at the beginning of his career.

This isn’t the first directing gig Durst has undertaken; he also helmed 2008’s The Longshots and 2007’s The Education of Charlie Banks, starring Jesse Eisenberg.

While the film has no official release date as of yet, it is slated for a 2018 debut according to IMDB.

Durst will pop his musician hat back on at the end of the month when he and the rest of Limp Bizkit head to Australia for Melbourne’s Download Festival and a run of sideshows.
