Lily Allen ProfileLily Allen returns to Australia and New Zealand for her highly anticipated West End Girl tour this month. With just a few weeks to go until she hits the stage, the support act for the tour has been named.
Travelling to our shores with the Smile hitmaker is the Dallas Minor Sextet – formerly known as Dallas Minor Trio – Lily Allen’s “very own cello ensemble,” as they describe themselves.
The group have joined Allen across her West End Girl tour in the UK and the US, where they perform a string of instrumental versions of the singer’s singles, including Fuck You, Not Fair, Smile, and The Fear, among others, leading singalong renditions with fans.
Now, they join her in Australia. Notably, Allen’s West End Girl tour “deliberately rejects” traditional concert expectations. She performs the album of the same name in its entirety, presenting it as a continuous piece of live theatre, with herself at the centre of the intimate production.
Along with singing, Allen transforms the songs into scenes that she delivers on stage – a seven-night arena tour of quietly dramatic proportions.
The tour begins in New Zealand, taking over Auckland’s Spark Arena on Wednesday, 21 October. The shows continue in Australia, beginning with the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Friday, 23 October.
Allen then performs two shows at Sydney’s TikTok Entertainment Centre on Sunday, 25 and Monday, 26 October, two nights at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday, 28 and Thursday, 29 October, and concludes the run at Perth’s RAC Arena on Sunday, 1 November.
Tickets to all shows are now available – head to the Frontier Touring website for more information.
West End Girl marks Allen’s first album in seven years. It was released digitally in October 2025, and the physical release rollout began in January.
The emotionally raw record debuted at #6 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart and #5 on the official New Zealand Albums Chart, marking Allen’s fifth consecutive Top 10 album on the ARIA Albums Chart.
Allen put the spotlight firmly on herself throughout her latest record, crafting a narrative journey about her move to New York and subsequent marriage breakdown in 14 songs. The record took just ten days to create.
The critically acclaimed record earned Allen three BRIT Award nominations at this year’s ceremony: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Pop Act. She’s also experiencing a cultural renaissance in Australia, appearing at #38 and #88 on triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2025 with Pussy Palace and the title track, respectively.
