Lil Wayne scores highest grossing hip hop tour ever

According to Billboard, American rapper Lil' Wayne's 2008-2009 North American tour has ended up grossing $42 million dollars, making it the highest grossing hip hop tour ever.

Coming in second was Jay-Z's 2008 tour which brought in $34.6 million, followed by Kanye West's 2008 tour which pulled in $30.8 million.
