A raft of excellent home-grown acts join the new-year festivities for 2016's Let Them Eat Cake event
New Year's Day just got a whole lot bigger with the announcement of the local acts for the 2016 Let Them Eat Cake Festival, joining the previously revealed cabal of drawcards headed to Victoria in a couple of months' time.
Gracing the stylish lawns of Werribee Mansion this year will be 29 local acts who are ready to smash it out of the park, with some of the top-billed Australian performers including the spontaneity of rough and ready house beats of Andras & Oscar; the largely improvisational live show of Harvey Sutherland; Francis Inferno Orchestra smashing out house and techno classics, as well as his own music from his A New Way of Living album and the eclectic LUCIANBLOMKAMP.
The rest of the Australian line-up includes: Fantastic Man, Kllo, Breaking And Entering DJs, 6AM At The Garage, Beatrice, Boot Action, Jay Mugelli, ACM, Deville, Digital Primate, Fortunes, Isaac Fryar, Jade Zoe and Mimi, Jamie Stevens, Kids Table, Lady Banton, Louis McCoy, Marky Murphy, Mike Callander, Monkey Marc, Moonshine, Muska & Nixie (live), Salvador Darling Experience, Silent Jay feat. Loreli, and Tim Koren.
