The Quebec folk-trad group will be performing gigs across the country.
Quebec folk-traditional group Les Poules À Colin have announced their debut Australian tour, with 16 shows scheduled between late February and late April.
Having already performed in cities and towns across Canada, the US, Europe and the UK, the five-piece will soon check off locations in NSW, Tas, Qld, Vic, the ACT, SA and WA (sorry, NT).
Les Poules à Colin, who have been playing together for nearly eight years, will be performing at seven folk festivals across the country including Port Fairy Folk Festival and National Folk Festival.
The group's repertoire include a combination of original pieces influenced by folk, old-time and jazz, and renditions of traditional pieces, most in French. With their third album due for release this year, 2017 looks to be a huge year for Les Poules à Colin.
