Over the past year Soundcloud extraordinaire and Fremantle local, Leon Osborn, has made his name as one of Australia's greatest up and coming producers.
And today he's moving one step closer to eminence by releasing an intricate new single You Were Gone Feat. Barksdale, and announcing that he's signed to none other than Pilerats Records.
You Were Gone is a carefully crafted concoction of silky beats, hypnotic rattling, tranquil vox and soul invasive bass tones, that successfully hold your mind in a state of nonchalance long after the four minute and 30 second track is over.
With a touch of Chet Faker, and an underpinning R&B melody, the track exudes an aura of mystery.
The cover art for the single and its B side The Map & The Territory, perfectly prepares the listener for what lays ahead, colourful characteristics and a strange sort of beauty that lingers through to the core, indescribable, yet unforgettable. A must hear for all electro-obsessives.
