They were scheduled to arrive in Australia next month.
Legendary UK act Genesis Breyer P-Orridge have been forced to cancel their upcoming Australian tour due to ill health.
A statement released by the tour promoter today has advised that unexpected complications related to the art and music pioneers' ongoing struggle with chronic leukemia has resulted in the tour being called off.
All tickets to the 2 February concert at Melbourne's The SUBSTATION will be refunded.
However, the Australian exclusive exhibition of works from Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, Loyalty Does Not End With Death, will proceed at the venue from 2 February-10 March.

"We are heartbroken that Genesis and Edley will be unable to join us this January for what would have been their first solo visit to Australia," Director of Room40, Lawrence English, said.
"The work Genesis has undertaken, across music and art has been foundational and is a critical intergenerational connection between the countercultures of the mid 20th century and emergent projects around identity, transgression and transcendence in music and art today.
"We send our very warmest thoughts to them and hope the ongoing therapies are successful in treating their leukaemia."
A Gofundme campaign was launched late last year to assist with Genesis' health care costs; click here for more details.
